Hey guys, today on The Edgy Veg, I'm here with my friend, Kristen, from Hopscotch The Globe. She runs an awesome travel channel here on YouTube. (upbeat music) - I do, so I travel the world and I share my experiences with my viewers, and also teach tips and advice so people can also travel. - The awesome thing about Kristen, as well, is that she's vegetarian.
So, you guys have been asking how to travel vegetarian, how to travel vegan, what are we bringing on the airplanes. We decided to do that. What is in our carry-on this website? (upbeat music) (laughing) - I carry so much stuff in my carry-on. I carry so much stuff in my carry-on. I put so much stuff... (laughing) I put so much stuff in my carry-on that I can't do a purse because it just makes my shoulder hurt. - We mean business. - Yeah, this is like I know what I'm doing. I'm a seasoned veteran. - Oh yeah, absolutely. - And if you're using backpack too, then you're on the right track. - I wonder how much we're gonna have that's similar or exactly the same. - I hope there's overlap. Do you wanna go first? - Okay, I am obsessed with these. They are the Hemp Heart Bites. Have you tried them? - Oh, no. They are amazing. So, it's just hemp seeds, there's coconut oil, a little bit of cane sugar. They're really good, and they fill you up. You don't need a lot of them to give you that... If you're really hungry, or need a snack, you need a couple of them, that's it. - The first item isn't a food item. The first item is woolly socks. - Wait a minute, wait a minute. - Woolly socks. Please tell me you have woolly socks. - Yay! - Yes! Airplanes are so cold, so cold, and I like to wear flip-flops on the airplane, because I like to be comfortable. So I just take them off, and then I put on these socks, and voila! - I always bring moisturizer for both my body, my hands, and specifically my face 'cause it's so dry on a plane. It's like that recycled, really dry air. - Oh, this is a good one. So, I carry, always, little packets of things. So, this is chocolate hazelnut butter. - Mmm, I love that. - And coconut oil because I never know when I'm gonna need coconut oil or chocolate hazelnut butter. - I hate the breakfast meals on a plane 'cause it's usually just bread, bread, bread, and I don't do well with gluten. So, I have this, it's like a quinoa, creamy coconut kind of oatmeal, and I just ask for hot water. I'm good to go. - That's perfect. - Yeah, it's great. - My next thing is dried fruit. So, this is dried pineapple. This is my favorite. - Baba! (dinging) - Dried pineapple is my absolute favorite. It's like candy, so if you want a healthier kind of yummy, candy-like snack, this is really great. - I don't know why this is in here. This is not what I usually bring! (laughing) And this actually, I think, has some booze in it. Let's put that back. - Drinking and flying. - Deodorant because you don't wanna reek. Especially the person next to you would really appreciate it if you didn't smell. It smells really good. It's really subtle. - Nobody would be mad at you for pulling that out.
